Melissa Becker

Melissa Becker is a South African born painter and printmaker. She emigrated to the U.S.A in 1976 and studied Fine Arts in New York City where she lived and exhibited for 11 years. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Art with Honours (BFA) at Parsons School of Design in 1983, and Master of Fine Art (MFA) at Hunter College in 1985. She has been based in Sydney, Australia since 1990.

Her work has been exhibited in the USA, France, UK, South Africa and Australia. A number of her paintings are in the permanent collection of Ifa Lethu in Tshwane/Pretoria, South Africa.
